1. Parties and scope

In this document, “Secda” means Emre Bekin, the individual developer who provides the service; “service” means the Secda app and the secda.app website. Contact details are at the end of this page.

The app licence, store terms and subscription terms also apply to the relevant transactions. These terms do not remove mandatory consumer or data protection rights.

2. Nature of the service

Secda provides tools for prayer times, Qibla direction, Quran reading and listening, guides and personal worship tracking. Available features may vary by version, device, region and subscription.

Prayer times and Qibla results depend on location, date, time zone, calculation method and device sensors. Device settings or the operating system may delay notifications. Check your location and trusted local sources if you notice a significant discrepancy. Guide content is not a personalised religious ruling or fatwa.

3. Account and eligibility

Use accurate, current information for account features and protect your credentials. Do not access another person’s account without permission. If you cannot legally enter a contract yourself, do not create an account or make a purchase without the required parent or guardian permission.

4. Permitted use and content

You may use the service for personal, lawful purposes. Bypassing security, collecting other users’ data, disrupting the service or commercially redistributing content without authorisation is prohibited. Uses expressly permitted by law remain permitted.

Rights in Secda’s design, software and brand, and in third-party translations, audio and imagery, belong to their respective owners. No exclusive rights are claimed over the Quran text itself. Permission to use the service does not transfer ownership of content.

5. Paid features

Premium is governed by the features, term and total price shown at checkout. Website descriptions do not replace the store’s purchase confirmation. Renewal, cancellation, refund and restoration details are on the Subscription terms page.

6. Changes and interruptions

Maintenance, security work or provider outages may affect access. Material changes to features or terms will be communicated through an appropriate channel. Applicable consumer rights remain protected if a paid service is substantially reduced or discontinued; new terms will not retroactively remove rights from previous purchases.

7. Account closure and liability

You may stop using the service and use the available account deletion function. Unlawful use or conduct that threatens security may result in necessary, proportionate access restrictions. Deleting an account does not automatically cancel a store subscription.

Service limitations do not remove Secda’s statutory responsibilities. No blanket exclusion or cap applies to wilful misconduct, gross negligence or liability that cannot legally be limited. Mandatory consumer remedies and access to competent authorities remain available.
